With a whole load of anticipation in the air and the crowd constantly on their feet in ‘actscitement’, Revolution Conference ’08 kicked it off with a blast! Featuring local acts Army of Three, Fourletterstory, and Under Headlights rocking the House along with their  ‘local delights’, Lightbulb with their rousing dance performances, the amazing Actstream Band spearheading pumping Praise and Worship sessions and renowned emcees Joel Loi and David Yeow with their crazy stage antics – the ‘actsperience’ was nothing short of splendid!

The 3-day conference saw close to 600 ‘hungry’ people thronging the AYA Conference Centre, and it was definitely a spiritual food ‘fiesta’ - many testifying of being fed beyond their expectations! Revo Academy was an eye-opener and brought clarity to many as Pr. Alex Tan, Pr. Andy Yeoh, Pr. Sandra Chin and Elder Kien Yiak shared their hearts on character building, the ‘ups and downs’ of their ministry life, challenging the delegates to rise up, align themselves to the vision of the ‘House’ and to soar to greater heights as a team!

The ‘breakout’ sessions led by the different Age Group leaders from Teenacity, U Campus and LIFE, the Young Working Adults ministry of ACTS proved to be fruitful with many ‘revolutionary’ ideas sprouting as participants shared and brain-stormed on how they can further ‘revolutionise’ their schools, colleges, universities and marketplaces.

The night concerts were power-packed as Pr.Sandra Chin, Pr. Sam Surendran and Pr. Kenneth took turns to inspire, spur and challenge hearts to go against the status quo, to take up their ‘crosses’ and follow the footsteps of the ultimate revolutionist of all time – Jesus! Altar calls were packed with 5 people giving their lives to Christ for the first time, many more on their knees rededicating their lives to Him – Revolution of Love - It’s about new beginnings!
