Dream TEAMs are normally called ministries or departments in other churches. We call them Dream TEAMs (DTs) because we believe the success of every ministry depends on its people - i.e. the team, who are focused on and united in and around a common goal i.e. the dream.

People gravitate towards similar interests or passions. Friendships are made, work gets done, dreams become reality. Dream TEAMs form the life of Acts in that they provide unlimited opportunities for service and outreach to the community in and around us through interest oriented initiatives.

How this works is simple. It usually starts with a dream (which almost always comes about because of a need). The dream is communicated and a few like-minded people are drawn together. The focus is intensified, the purpose made clear, the objectives laid out and the cost is counted. A core TEAM (Together Everybody Achieves More) is formed and a proposal is presented. The dream is birthed as action is taken. Lives are touched. Needs are addressed. Change is inevitable.

More people join the team as they catch the vision. Each one contributes their unique experiences, giftings and resources. Together they continue to make the difference. The TEAM keeps growing. The potential is endless. It's not just a 'ministry'. It's not just a 'department'. It's people rallying together with a dream to change their world - forever - beginning with where they're at, with what they've got.

Dream TEAMs are an expression of Ephesians 4:11-16 and the focus is on maximising potential and ministering to people.
