This course grounds new believers in the foundational doctrines of Christianity and serves as a tool for teachers in leading all believers into more mature discipleship. It presents the Bible as the inspired and infallible authority for faith and practice; the nature and attributes of God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; the nature of mankind and the need for salvation and God's plan of redemption through Jesus Christ; the meaning and purpose of the church; and the culmination of history at the second coming of Christ.
This course stresses the importance of establishing a consistent and systematic plan for Bible study, offers simple and practical methods for effective Bible study, presents sound principles for interpreting the Bible, and shows how to develop outlines and lesson plans for use in teaching and preaching.
This course uses the example of Jesus in developing a passion and a strategy for world evangelization. It presents eight guiding principles that we can learn from Jesus as He enlisted and trained evangelists and demonstrated the personal and practical requirements necessary for effective evangelism. This course presents the biblical basis for understanding the Kingdom of God, with a detailed examination of the principles, concepts and characteristics of the Kingdom and its central place in the teaching and activity of Jesus. Particular emphasis is given to the character of God's kingly rule, the divine ordering and control of creation and history and the ultimate accomplishing of God's purpose.
This course presents the skills necessary to prepare and communicate expository messages that are biblically accurate and relevant to the needs of the congregation. It deals with the art and craft of sermon design and delivery. It presents the character and spiritual formation of the preacher, exegesis of Scripture for preaching and effective communication strategies.
This course is an introduction to the history and message of the Bible, with an emphasis on the essential nature, structure, major themes, chronology and content of the Bible. The book provides an understanding of God's self-revelation and His plan of redemption.
This course presents a biblical and historical perspective of a church-planting ministry. It gives special attention to a model of evangelism for church planting, to Paul's strategy and to contemporary models of church planting. The book provides practical methods and techniques used in church planting, as well as giving steps and procedures for establishing and developing into an organized church.
